Jenica Bridges
Forbes describes work-life balance as “an important aspect of a healthy work environment. Maintaining a work-life balance helps reduce stress and helps prevent burnout in the workplace.” Just like many young professionals entering the workforce, Jenica Bridges was struggling to find the perfect equation for work-life balance. Managing her personal, community, and professional life was not as easy as she imagined when graduating from Rutgers University in 2002 with her Bachelors’s in Communication. Jenica currently serves as the National Business Manager of Convenience at Perfetti Van Melle. Previously, she has led teams at Haribo, Wrigley, New Balance, and Frito Lay. In 2015, she obtained her MBA from Temple University. She specializes in strategic planning, analytics analysis, broker relationships, and team leadership. As Jenica reflected on her professional experiences thus far, she noticed something; all things are connected.
Throughout her journey, she transformed into her authentic self and saw how that translated into the business world. “When I began to exhibit in all facets of my life who I was, it translated into having a positive work environment.” Consequently, Water Cooler Confessions was born in 2019. Being transparent in the workplace led Janica to build trust amongst her peers and instill confidence in her to have open conversations in the workplace. “I would like to help others find their Authentic Self and provide support on how they, too, can find the courage to be Authentic.” Jenica is passionately elevating those around her to have the confidence and knowledge to do the same.
